Join DVRPC and FHWA for a two-day conference about planning for megaregions. Participants will explore emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and best practices, and have opportunities to coordinate efforts in a multi-jurisdictional, multi-state area that spans from West Virginia to New Jersey.
On Day 1, FHWA will lead the discussion on freight transportation planning in the Mid-Atlantic region. Topics include ongoing challenges, as well as opportunities to expand work beyond traditional planning boundaries.
On Day 2, DVRPC will focus on Greater Philadelphia, hosting experts from other multi-state metropolitan areas, including Washington, DC, Cincinnati, and Kansas City, and share experiences and best practices. The DVRPC Board will meet following the program at 2:00 p.m.
