Lower Bucks County Logistics Summit:

By Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (other events)

ABOUT ABOUT

The recently completed interchange between I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike will have a dramatic
effect on freight services and local mobility in Bristol Township, Bristol Borough, and the Lower Bucks
County area. The new connection has the potential to modify market attractiveness, development and
traffic patterns. DVRPC is undertaking a traffic study to assess the growth that may arise as a result of the new interchange, and identify transportation improvements to accommodate future mobility needs and freight service.

DVRPC invites private-sector stakeholders involved in shipping, receiving, manufacturing, warehousing, and goods movement in Lower Bucks County to a Logistics Summit to discuss the business implications of this new interchange. Objectives include:

  • Discuss opportunities and challenges for freight-related businesses associated with the new interchange.
  • Learn about economic development opportunities identified in the Bristol Township Transportation and Community Development Initiative (TCDI) report produced by the Bucks County Planning Commission earlier this year.
  • Identify transportation improvements that would enhance economic competitiveness in Lower Bucks County, including potential solutions for employee transportation challenges.

We look forward to hearing your perspective! Please RSVP via Ticketleap. If you have additional questions about the study, please contact Al Beatty: [email protected].
