DVRPC's Annual Board Retreat is returning to in-person and will be at Convene’s CityView location at 30 S. 17th Street, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This year’s retreat will include the DVRPC Board members and senior agency staff, together with DVRPC senior staff, and will focus on “The Future of DVRPC.” This event will be a significant transition milestone, a moment for reflection, and an opportunity to explore new initiatives for the Commission.
This will be the last retreat for Barry Seymour, after more than 16 years as the DVRPC Executive Director,and will feature national leaders from three of our peer metropolitan planning and regional planning organizations. Barry will lead an interactive panel discussion with these guests, touching on several of their organizations’ unique programs in housing, public-private partnerships, arts and culture, and public health, as well as common activities such as long-range planning, climate change, and advancing equity. It may also be the first opportunity to meet the next DVRPC Executive Director.

Convene at 30 South 17th Street is located in Center City between Ludlow Street and Ranstead Street and is accessible by various public transit options including: PATCO and SEPTA’s subways, bus routes, and trolleys.
