ABOUT ABOUT

There will be two meetings held.  Please register for which event(s) you will be attending.  There will be a break and refreshments provided between events.

Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Information Session:  2 pm - 3:30 pm

The TAP information session will be held in each of the five Southeastern Pennsylvania counties (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia).  Please register for the meeting in your County.  Bonus application points will be provided to all potential applicants that are represented in some form at the information session.

There will be one solicitation for two years of TAP funding totaling approximately $7.5 million in the DVRPC Pennsylvania counties for Transportation Alternative projects.  Concurrently, the statewide TAP will have approximately $26 million for all eligible project types.  There will be one application submitted by potential project sponsors and projects may then be selected as either regional or statewide priorities.

Local governments, regional transportation authorities, transit agencies, natural resource or public land agencies, school districts, local education agencies, or schools, and tribal governments are eligible to apply for the competitive TAP funds.

TAP applications forms, program guidance, and more information will be available at www.dvrpc.org/TAP.  The application period will open on November 2, 2015 and close on January 8, 2016.  Please contact Joe Banks at [email protected] or 215-238-2898 for program questions.

The Circuit Trails Workshop: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Following each TAP information Session, the Circuit Coalition, PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR), and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) will host a workshop to provide updates on Circuit Trail development in each County, discuss a wide range of current and on-going funding sources, and look at ways to further development of Circuit trails currently in the pipeline.

If you have any questions pertaining to the Circuit Trails Workshop please contact Sarah Clark Stuart at [email protected] or 215-242-9253.
