Law Enforcement will hear from other police officers on the importance of the newly enhanced Move Over Law, which requires motorists to move over or slow down when approaching either an emergency or disabled vehicle.
As a special guest speaker, retired PSP Sergeant Bob Bemis will recount the events of a 2015 struck-by incident that, in an instant, changed his life forever.
In addition, West Chester and Exeter Police Departments will share their experiences and provide insight on conducting Move Over Details, the purpose of which are to educate the motoring public on the law.
Resources will be made available to share with others in the region and beyond.
