State of Regional Industrial Development in Greater Philadelphia

Please join us for our July meeting of the Goods Movement Task Force. This meeting will provide an Industrial Development update for the region.

DVRPC Regional Industrial Development Updates

The DVRPC region has seen extensive growth and changes in development patterns of industrial and warehouse facilities in recent years. DVRPC staff will share updates on industrial development in the region over the last 5 years as well as future forecasts. This will include summary data from the CoStar Real Estate database and trends that appear across the region.

LINK Logistics Industrial Market Update

Liz Gabor, Link Logistics, will share information regarding the state of the current industrial development market in the Greater Philadelphia region. Specific projects constructed by Link Logistics will be used to discuss the effect local and state regulations have on industrial development’s location, shape, and amenities. Other issues affecting industrial development will be discussed as well, such as rail and workforce access.

SJTPO 2024 Regional Freight Plan

Jacob Commings, South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO), will share their 2024 SJTPO Regional Freight Plan which incorporates documented data analyses and recent studies to make well-supported recommendations for the regional freight network. In this plan, SJTPO identifies critical development and transportation network sites and issues, resulting in a prioritized list of potential solutions encompassing projects, technologies, and policies.
